Corrections
This site makes claims about planning law. Some of them will eventually be wrong, either because we made a mistake or because the law moved. Here is how that gets fixed, in public.
Telling us about an error
Email corrections@conservationareawindows.co.uk. The most useful reports include:
- the page and, if you can, the sentence;
- what you believe the correct position is;
- a source — legislation, guidance, an appeal decision or a published local policy.
We are particularly glad to hear from conservation officers, planning officers, heritage consultants and joiners who see the practical end of this. If your authority applies a policy that contradicts something here, that is worth a page of its own.
What we do about it
- We check the report against primary sources.
- If it is right, we correct the page and update its "last checked" date.
- If the error was on a point of law — not a typo — we log it below, so that anyone who read the old version can see what changed.
